NOTE: Stuff that's in blue was added in later.
Titles for most of eps 1-5 were mooched off of this site, and, though close, aren't the Toonami English dubbed titles.
08th MS Team airs on Toonami at midnight pacific time on weekdays.
Ep1: The War of Two
A Fed shuttle full of fresh meat for fighting the war on Earth is...headed for Earth when some people on it see some commotion. It's a battle in space. Since the shuttle isn't equiped for battle, the shuttle moves on. BUT...hehehe. This one guy, Shiro, says that he can't leave one of the Fed's guys out for dead, muttering something about not wanting a repeat of what happened on Side 2 (whatever that was...). So he goes out to help in a...Ball, which is a suit that's...a ball with a few appendages. So Shiro goes out, distracts the Zion suit...and both the suits end up exploding, sending their pilots (aka Shiro and the Zion pilot) to this abandoned ship floating around space. At first Shiro and the Zion pilot hunted each other, but they then agreed to co-operate in getting themselves back to their repsective forces. After searching for some way of communicating with the world in large, Shiro found some fire-works. They set one off, and it worked, and they took their separate ways. Oh! And the Zion pilot was this lady (Aina), and she forgot her watch with Shiro. And Shiro has a crush on her. That's it, *whew*
Haha! OMG, who *is* that dumb punk-ish blonde guy? Lol...I like him! *grins* This show has HUMOUR! GW hardly
ever had humour...I mean, the only people in it who ever made jokes were Heero and Wufei, and that's really saying
something. Also this show has this Romeo+Juliet-like romance going on, and I think that their relationship so far is just
the cutest thing! I think I like this show best of all of the Gundam shows I've seen so far. I mean, I feel bad saying this,
but I'm starting to see why a lot of people consider GW the worse (or in my friend's case, the second worst after Turn
A Gundam *shrugs* haven't seen it, so I wouldn't know) Gundam series...I mean, if the other god-knows-how-many
Gundam series are like Mobile Suit Gundam and 08th MS Team, yeah, they blow GW out of the water. Anyway. I'm
really looking forward to seeing the second ep tonight...even if it's on the midnight run and it'll totally screw up my sleep
schedule. *shrugs* I shouldn't be going to bed early in the summer anyway!
Ep2: Gundams in the Jungle (Toonami version title)
You meet the 08th Team: Elador (dumb-seeming blondie *grins*), Karen (tough, tall lady), Mikel (small, freckled kid who has this thing with writing dramatic letters to his girlfriend, was in shuttle with Shiro in ep1), and Sanders (guy who Shiro rescued in ep.1). So they go out in the jungle, and everyone's wondering how long Shiro's gonna last. They get into a fight with some Zakus, and Shiro tries to do stuff with his gundam, but apparently he isn't that good in gravity and atmostphere. He gets separated from the rest of the Team, and they go back without him. And then Shiro takes out the last Zaku that was wondering around the jungle, and he returns to the Fed camp. All is well.
Wow...Shiro is an IDIOT! Yeah, mister no-heroics-come-back-alive, and then look what he does! Geez...But it works
in theory, I guess. I mean, his first day as commander ...he kind of has to be spectacular. You know, to make the first
impression. *giggles* Ahh...I almost feel sorry for him. Tramping around the jungle--I'm surprised he didn't get mobbed
by giant ants or something. Or at least some sort of bug. I mean, he got attacked by a butterfly! The red-haired girl he
ran into in the jungle is interesting...wonder who she is.
Hhmm...it seems that the dumb-seeming blonde guy isn't as dumb as he seems (^_^; You'll have to bear with me...it
takes me a while to get all the character's names. I should have it by the fourth or fifth ep, though. *looks optimistic*).
For some reason, I like him less instead of more for not being dumb. *pouts*
I feel sorry for Sanders. His team gets killed, and what do people do? They joke about almost right to his face.
*mutters* Stupid...soldier people.
Karen...I don't know if I like Karen or not. On one hand, she's a strong female character. On the other hand, she's a bit
of a bitch. Aw, we'll see about her.
*jaw hits the ground* That's a GUY?! WTF? In the commercials, I always thought that the funny-hair-style-blondie was
a GIRL! I mean...he looks like he has this defined WAIST! *swirlie eyes* My world has turned upside-down.
*swoon* Anyway...What's this about medication? Is he physically sick...mentally sick...? It interests me. And
apparently he's romantic-lead-girl's big brother (and at first I thought he was her gir--I mean BOYfriend). Gee, the trend
continues.
Ep3: The Time Limit on Trust
The 08th Team decides to take out a Zion base. Their plan is for one person to attack from...Actually, I don't really remember what the plan was. But the major part of it was that one person had to go off alone, and they all start attacking at a pre-designated time. Shiro wants to be the one who goes off alone (has to prove himself, eh?), and Karen tells him that he'd *better* be there are the proper time, 'cause they can only hold their own for an hour. Shiro gets captured by the guerillas and taken to the village that's close to the Zion base. After some tense moments, he convinces the guerillas to let him go, but it's already past the pre-designated time then. He rushes back to his gundam, rushes back to the Zion base/village, attacks, saves the day, and all is well.
Haha! Dumb-seeming-blondie--who's name is apparently Elador--has just totally redeemed himself for not being as
dumb as he seemed with that 'expendable' comment! Lol..."The Commander's got the least experience, which makes
him the most expendable" ...Oh my, that's *rich*! Elador has *more* than redeemed himself in this ep, that quote along
with his behavior during this ep just made him my favorite character of this show. What, with that "concentrating" on the
"sensors", aka "listening" to a "countdown"...Haha! And I *loved* the end part when the guerillas were just taking
everything and Kiki was bugging Shiro about the watch. *grins* Ah...that's good humour.
The part they show at the ending credits also deserves a mention, in my opinion. Even though I've been enjoying it since
the first ep, I haven't mentioned it yet. I love it, especially the part where that guy walks by with the V-for-victory
fingers. *grins*
One thing bugs me. This quote: "Darnnit, let go!" Darnnit. DARNNIT?! Even sweet little QUATRE swore in the uncut
version of GW. I mean, either there's something wrong with the dubbing, or there's something wrong with Shiro.
Personally, since you see that spurting of blood in the commercials for the show, I'm guessing it's the later. Who uses
wussy swears when they're in the situation he was in?
Anyway. You know what I was thinking all throughout the ep? '...Hey! They're destroying the rain forest!' and 'You
know, for a rain forest there's an awful lack of aquatic life' and 'You know, for *any* forest, there's an awful lack of
*any* life' and I think that that's kind of weird. I blame drugs--I mean...Pollution! That's what I blame. *nods as if to
emphasize*
You know...I watched the commercial again, and romantic-lead-girl (sorry...still can't get her name drilled into my head.
Anya or something...?) anyway, her brother...he still looks terribly like a girl in that shot where he's walking away from
this explosion. So I was thinking...what if he actually was? *evil grin* I mean, he takes meds--we know that. And we
know that his medication is important enough for romantic-lead-girl to have alarms set on her watch for it. I mean, what
if *something* unwanted happened if he didn't take the meds... *evil-er grin* I think by now you know where I'm going
with this! (MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!)
Ep4: The Demon Overhead/Above (I can't really remember...)
Oh...my...god. The Osilus *is* huge. It's kind of funny actually...Karen jumps up in the air, and you just don't *expect*
something of that size to just ram into her. It's *big*. And you're saying that it only takes one pilot to operate it? What
can it do then? Does it have a whole bunch of little machine minds running different things for the pilot? It must
have...Then again, the gundams don't. But then again, this thing is, what?--10X the size of a gundam?
So the show starts when they're testing out the Osilus by...dropping it into the atmosphere. o.O? Ok...good testing
grounds, I think. If it didn't work Aina would have been totally..dead but hey! Then they had this big formal party 'cause
the test works...and I have to say that that dress doesn't look good on Aina. It...it makes her head look so *small*!
Then again, I'm not a fan of pouffy dresses, so hey. (I really like the thing she had in her hair, though ^__^ ...I want
one!) What is it with the people at the Fed base? Do the lot of them have nothing better to do than bait Sanders?
Well...actually, they did, they were on duty, but you get my point...right? They're LOSERS! I don't blame Sanders for
rising to the bait...I would. The fact that I would get my ass kicked is beside the point! So Sanders wants to quit 'cause
he has this 3rd-time-seeing-action-everyone-but-him-dies jinx on him...poor guy. Then they see the Osilus (on another
test flight, I assume) and attack it. But I was cheering for the Zion here. I'm like, NoooooOOOOoooo! Don't shoot,
don't shoot at Aina! She's so nice! And then what happens? Sanders starts hacking away at her (in the Osilus, or course
~_^) with the beam...thingie. And now I'm kind of wondering what the hell the Osilus is made out of...I mean, Sander's
really didn't get that far by hacking away. Then again, maybe that was the shielded side.
Oh yes, and once again they total the forest. *looks indignant* No wonder there's no wild life anywhere in there (aside
from the occasional flock of birds)....
I...I like Karen now. She's kind of slowly loosing her mind...*grins* Did you hear that laugh she had at the end...it was
totally lasting too long for just a Whoo-Hoo!-I'm-still-alive laugh...it was a kind of
I'm-slowly-loosing-my-mind-and-I-need-to-vent-before-I-do kind of laugh. And for being on the edge of insanity, I
salute her! ...in a strictly non-military sense, of course ^_^;
Hhm. Admiral...Wolverine (didn't catch his name...but he *does* look like Wolverine, eh?) OK, being a yaoi fan, I
have to admit when he first entered (the oh-good,-the-Osilus-didn't-explode-on-the-test-run party) and acted all
familiar with Ginius (sp?), I crept a bit closer to the TV. Could this be what I think it is?.....And..No, it isn't. *pouts*
Darnnit, and I thought I was gonna get to see some shounen-ai-ish stuff there! Aw well...
Ep5: The Broken Order to Standby
The Zion people with the Osilus occupies this small village while they fix the Osilus up. Elador and Mikel get back from
a mission (or something...) earlier than the rest of the 08th team, and they head out to town to celebrate when Elador
gets a letter saying that the song he wrote's gonna be recorded. And they get caught. But they escape sorta by accident
...*grins* While in an inprov. prison cell (aka the storage room of a hotel--the Casablanca hotel *smiles* and I could
have swore that there was a Luit. Picard in the ep too ^__^ I'm not a Trekkie, but I still think that that's cool!) they start
getting at each other's throats, and they escape when they accidentally knock out the guard who came in to break them
up. So they escape, and they get caught up in a fight between the Zion (the remaining people...Aina had already taken
off in the repaired Osilus at this point). They fight in ...a construction suit is what they called it? Anyway, it's mobile and
has a crane for a head. (You know...the construction one) Elador gets shot. Karen was married to a surgeon, now
widowed. Elador gets sent back to the back lines (Aww...*pouts* But he's the most photogenic character...well, on the
Fed side anyway, IMHO. Oh well, I'm starting to like Mikel better anyway. But Elador still'd better be back!) And then
the show has some love-hinting moments with Elador and Karen. Hmm. Don't know what to think of that one, though I
guess, looking back, you could sort of see it coming by the first ep. Maybe. Actually, no, you couldn't. And that
concludes the summary part of this thing, now on to the funner (for me) part!
Haha! I LOVE this show! OMG, I have rarely laughed so hard in my LIFE then I did watching that fight between
Elador and Mikel. It was HILARIOUS! Lol! I don't really even know what was so funny about it...I mean, the subject
matter isn't that funny (we're gonna die...but we haven't even lived...and we're gonna DIE!), but some how, it's totally
comedic! Oh man, this is why I stay up late to watch this show...so much humour. *grins* And for a minute there I
thought that there could be something to work upon between Elador and Mikel...but then they did that thing with Karen
and I'm like, *snaps fingers and pouts* Shoot! Foiled again. (Although they never did anything to show that *Mikel*
wouldn't be object to...*wink-wink* *evil grin* Hehehehehehehehehe)
Ep6: Battle on the Burning Sand
Cue dramatic music! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a cliff-hanger! Dun Dun Dun....
Ok, so the action plot goes like this. The 08th team is hunting down the Osilus (they still don't know what it is...Shiro
refers to it as 'the monster'), and with the help of the guerilla girl Kiki, they determine that the thing is in the desert
somewhere. They find where they think that the Osilus is being tested, and they set up an ambush for it. The Osilus has
this cool weapon...I'm not sure what it is, exactly, but it takes a time to load up, looks cool while it's loading up, and it's
pretty powerful. At the end, Shiro jumped onto the Osilus to throw it's aim off 'cause it was gonna plaster Mikel's
mobile suit (Mikel was in a suit instead of the tank this time). But after jumping on, Shiro held on--even after he was
rammed and scraped against the wall for a while. It was then that Aina and Shiro recognized each other's voices. And
then the Osilus blasted off into the wild blue yonder.
Ok, the character/emotional plot...We see Mikel totally zoned out during a lot of the operations. Almost killed Shiro too
^_^;. I don't know about anyone else...I almost root for that guy to die. I don't know...I mean, I like him fine. I just
want him to die. No particular reason, really..anyway. Back to Mikel. What happened was his girlfriend (Phebe?)
mailed him back a letter basically saying that she half lives for his letters, but she thinks that maybe they should forget
about each other for a while 'cause she's afraid of the day when Mikel's dead and he won't be able to send anymore
letters (Beidy, I think they could figure that out for themselves...it doesn't take a genius to figure out that dead people
can't send letters! Seesh..-_-; *smack* come on, wake up and write!) So Mikel spends the whole ep being bummed
out about that (poor guy...). And Kiki spends most of the ep following Shiro around and doing stuff for him and
spending some time being bummed out 'cause Shiro doesn't really notice her (handles it way better than Mikel, though).
When Mikel undergoes a nervous breakdown (at day 5 of dessert--I mean desert watchin'), Kiki offers to send his
letter for him (so Phebe won't worry that Mikel's dead or something...and because Mikel's a hormonal teenager, I
assume, and he's totally stressed out about his relationship with Phebes), and Shiro gets ticked at that. They yell...and
Mikel seemed just about ready to deck Shiro at one time (which I would have totally liked to see...'cause Shiro was
being an ass ^__^). But in the end, Sanders throws Mikel into the air and onto the sand. And the next scene is a fight
scene. The end.
Oh! And Elador requested his own song...*giggles* It's not a bad song...I don't particularly care for it, but it set the
mood nicely. Mikel's so cute...He has that total awkward teenager-kid look! He's, like, the little curley-haired, freckle
faced, clumsy kid that isn't that popular! If he were in high school he'd be wearing a flannel shirt and loose jeans and
he'd have braces!--that's the kind of kid he'd be. *pinches Mikel's cheek* (....*cough* I mean the one on his face)
He's...he's just so adorable! I mean, he's probably older than I am (I'm 15)...but he just has that totally young quality. I
LOVE MIKEL! *squeals*
Ep7: Reunion
....this ep was screwed up, man. The continuency was totally off. I mean, you have Shiro and Aina's little conversation,
and each of them are talking random-ness...and the other doesn't question it at all. Plus...the conversation's so
*random*! But I saw on gundam.com that each 08th ep is supposed to be 30 minutes, so I guess they really went at it
with the editing scissors. Too bad...totally screws things up when too much is edited out.
So the Osilus, with Shiro hanging on with his mobile suit, almost crash lands, but thanks to Shiro, it doesn't. It stops at
the edge of a cliff. Like all almost-crash-lands things do. (It's just like the bomb that gets disabled at the last second.)
The Shiro falls off the cliff ^__^ Then he almost freezes. When Aina finds him they have some nice little talks. They use
the beam rifle of Shiro's suit to get a nice pool of warm water for Shiro to warm up his hands in, and they end up
swimming. Then the Zekes and the Feds have a fight in the area, Aina leaves, and Shiro is left staring defiantly at the
space where Aina was.
They're idiots. No, no, I take that back. They're emotionally unstable (*mutters under breath* idiots--I
mean...um...what I mean is...) They're like Romeo and Juliet in more than one way...first the whole enemies thing, then
the whole impulsive love at almost-first-sight, then the whole falling so much in love thing. Some people might think it's
romantic...I don't. I totally don't. They have no basis for their love...*why* do they love each other? They don't even
*know* each other. Getting back to the R&J thing...Hhmm. If we follow the pattern, then Elador's probably Mercutio,
Mikel's Benvolio, Ginius (who forgot to take his meds today, BTW *grins* we shall soon see if my theory about him is
correct....*rubs hands together eagerly*) is Capulet, I don't know who Montegue would be, Tybalt...Hhm, Tybalt?
Lets just say he's Admiral Wolverine. The nurse would be...that almost bald guy who kind of protects Aina, lol!
....you know, I totally hope the shows doesn't end up following the plot of R&J too much. I don't wanna see Elador
dead, darnnit! Shiro, maybe, but *not* Elador! *wails*
And Aina's voice is really annoying. I didn't notice that until I had to listen to it say so many things. Uck.
Ep8: Duty and Ideals
Man, this was a *great* episode! At the end, I was totally on the edge of my seat, heart pounding, hanging on to every word of
it. I loved this show before, but now I am totally...speechless, that's what I am. Man, this show is GOOD!
How can I summarize it in my ill prepared words? I don't think I can...but I can and will try! Shiro is recovered from..that
mountain range place where he and Aina were stranded. He is taken (in handcuffs, BTW) to a blonde Newtype lady, who
played up the part of being Shiro's alli to gain his trust. Then she dived into his mind, kind of hypnotized him, asked the right
questions, and recorded Shiro's responses. The Federation thinks that Shiro is a spy for Zion, and they put him on trail.
Meanwhile, Ginius confronts Aina about Shiro saying that she was acting like a woman in love, and showing her the picture he
had of Aina shielding Shiro's body with her own. Then Admiral Wolverine (not his real name, I know, but you know who I'm
talking about, right?) shows up over transmission and tells Ginius that the Osilus project was being shut down. That is when
Ginius looses it. He starts shooting the flat-screen communication unit. It's...a bit eerie 'cause he's almost perfectly calm while
he's just unloading his gun into the wall. You see the 08th Team talking about Shiro's trail. Basically, they support Shiro 'cause
they don't believe that Shiro could be a spy. (Opps, I forgot a really important part. Right after Ginuis confronts Aina with the
whole Shiro thing, the ep does this thing where they flip back and forth between Aina talking to Ginuis and Shiro talking to the
council at his trail, and they're both saying the same thing. They're both making this speech about the uselessness of the war.
The council just started laughing at Shiro when he was done. One guy then asked Shiro if he thought that he could still fire at the
enemy, and he replied that he didn't know.)
Kiki's village gets occupied by 3 Zakus, who didn't want to do any harm...they were lost and hungry. But the village really hates
the Zion, and one of the soldiers was really itching for a fight, so there was a fight. When 08th Team heard about it, they
headed out in spite of Shiro's trail. In the end, a lot of the village was destroyed, Kiki broke her leg and lost her father, and all
three Zakus were destroyed. And Shiro was left really demoralized. And apparently, he *could* still fire at the enemy.
I think I'm gonna have to take back all the times I said "Shiro is an idiot" or something such, and replace it with something along
the lines of "Shiro is Luke Skywalker". And the thing is, once I start thinking of what he's doing from a Luke-ish point of view, I
really can't dislike him or cheer for his death. I love Luke. And besides, now to me, Shiro isn't just Shiro anymore--he's an
ideal. He's a walking, brooding, drenched-in-the-rain ideal. Sure, he's really kind of disillusioned right now...Luke got totally off
track in The Empire Strikes Back as well (aka the second Star Wars movie ^_^;). All of these idealistic-type characters have
that disillusionment stage. He's bounce right back!--or so I am forced to believe based on what formulaic writing has taught
me!
08th MS Team has only 12 episodes. *huffs* Man, that sucks! On the plus side I won't have to choose between being awake
during school or watching Toonami's midnight run (as I would have been if 08th MS Team ran into the 30 or 40 or 50 episode
range), but I really like this show, darnnit! And there's only 12 eps? *pouts* Aw well...at least Toonami pretty much *has* to
run re-runs...which means I'll get to The Broken Order to Standby again! ^__^
Ep9: Um...didn't catch the title ^_^;
Eledore's back! ^__^ *fangirl squeal while doing happy-happy dance* And he seems to have grown totally
infatuated with Karen. Gee, what *could* they be hinting at?
The 08th team is sent out to see if they can find the Zion hidden base. In order to keep an eye on Shiro, Sanders was
ordered to ....well, keep an eye on Shiro. (I'm sorry...my vocabulary isn't great at night) They dropped out of the
airplane and encountered a Zion ship in air. Shiro managed to actually land on the ship, and *ahem* "negotiated"
with them to stop firing. So they land at this nice, placid, perfect-romantic-sunrise lake--which just happened to be
the hiding place of a weird modified Zaku. Karen, Eledore, and to a lesser extent Mikel, manage to defeat the Zaku,
but Karen's suit is seriously damaged. (It lost it's head...^_^). The team decides to split up. And of course, they get
attacked again. 'Cause it just wouldn't be an episode if they didn't. Shiro and Sanders were attacked by the same
people who were in the Zeke airplane. Battle. Battle. Battle. Admiral Wolverine (OK, I know they said his name,
like, five times in this episode, but I just can't get it!) is killed by Ginius 'cause Ginius found out that Wolverine never
told any of his superiors that he ordered the Osilus project shut down...and so if he happened to be missing in action,
the Osilus project could continue. And it's still continuing.
*jumps up and down* Eledore's back, Eledore's back, Eledore's back! Ok, ok, calm yourself Beidy. *chants*
Calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean, calm...
Shiro goes insane at the end of this ep. Oh yeah. He does the laugh and everything. In fact, the ep ends with a shot of
him laughing his head off in mirthless insanity.
...you know what? This show really doesn't do the romance angle very well. I like how they did the Kiki/Shiro thing,
and I like how they do the Mikel/BB thing, but the Shiro/Aina and the Eledore/Karen...it just doesn't really work. I
don't know...I totally don't believe in love at first sight. *shakes head* Nope. Not at all. Shiro and Aina see each
other, and suddenly they would do anything for each other. I just...as it is, it just doesn't work for me. And the
Eledore/Karen thing...that did the same thing, it came out of nowhere! I mean, at the end of Broken Order to
Standby they did all those significant looks thing, but then in this ep they were so unusually close? Who else gets the
feeling that the romances in this series skips the 2 and 3 steps and goes right to 4? Like, they have this hint, and then
suddenly the two are practically married? I just don't like how it's done...
Ep.10: The Shuddering Mountain part 1
I have a question. If Shiro's Japanese, and the show's made in Japan, why does he sign his name in English in the
ending credits? When Karen hands him the clipboard, he signs on it S. Amada. Weird...
Anyway. The Feds launch an attack on ...well, a mountain. Sounds really stupid when phrased that way. Anyway.
The Osilus was in the mountain. They attack the mountain. People are evacuated from the mountain. I should really
stop talking about the mountain. Norris goes out in a Zaku to make sure that the evacuation goes smoothly by taking
out the Fed's gun tanks. He has a sortie with the 08th Team, and ends up getting all the tanks. He also ends up
getting his Zaku sliced in half by Shiro. He didn't kill Shiro 'cause he found out that Shiro was the one Aina was in
love with. At the end, Shiro says that he's resigning.
I...don't have much to say about this episode. I'm kinda sad knowing that there's only two eps left. *sniffle* Oh, and
Aina's voice really isn't annoying unless you have to listen to a lot of it. Then again...I tend to be really tolerant of
voices--they just don't annoy me as much as they annoy other people. (Probably 'cause my hearing sucks...^_^;)
Ginius is a bastard. A cute bastard, but a bastard none-the-less. But...I can't dislike him too much. He is, after all, off
the deep end (and possibly out of the pool altogether ^__^)
Ep11. The Shuddering Mountain Part 2
...It's over? No! No, but that web site said that there were 12 eps, dammit! I want that other ep! *wimpers* I can't
believe that it's over....But it was a nice ending. And I'm guaranteed re-runs! *smiles*
You get to see the Osilus in action in this ep, and boy, it's powerful. Punched a hole right through the mountain. Right
THROUGH the mountain. It was like someone took a giant one-hole paper-punch to the thing...So Shiro quits. You
see a moral conflict in Karen--she was ordered to kill Shiro should he do what he did. But in the end, she ends up
pulling the punch. Aina negotiates a temporary truce with the Feds so the shuttle with the Zion injured could get into
space, but Ginius started shoot and the Feds started shooting. The shuttle was destroyed, and Aina went a
bit...insane there. She was going to shoot full-power at the Fed base, but she saw Shiro and pulled the shot up high.
And that's when it punched through the mountain. Ginius, in an insane rage, shoots her and Aina falls from the Osilus.
Shiro dives under and catches her. Just when Ginius was about to shoot Shiro and Aina both sky high, the sniper
(who had been getting into position all that time) shot at the Osilus, making Ginius's shot go wide. That's when Shiro
attacked the Osilus with the help of Aina (the big ornamental watch she wore caught the gun shot). They both went
behind the mountain, and a few seconds later you see this huge explosion. In the end, the 08th Team never found
Shiro. They made a grave for him. And in the last shot, you see Shiro and Aina supporting each other as they walk
out of an abandoned tunnel (into the light...)
Did Shiro loose his leg? I don't know...in that last shot there it sounded like there was a ding every time he set his leg
down. I mean, it was probably intended for the crutch that he had, but it totally sounded like he had a metal leg!
I *cannot* believe that this show is over! *deep sigh* Nope, can't believe at all.*shakes head* Man...only 11 eps?
Only five hours of show in total sans commercials? *crumbles* NoooOOOooo! It should have lasted longer, darnit!
But...all it did all tie up quite nicely. Like, they finished the Kiki thing. Shiro and Aina are together, the war is over,
and they can live out their lives. The rest of the 08th team goes on. Yep, I'd say that it's pretty tied up. Now I totally
hope that when fanfiction.net gets back up there'll be some 08th fics and what-not. Yeah, keep it alive! ^__^
Mikel is so SHORT! I've noticed it before...but when you stand him next to Eledore, he's puny! And you're telling
me he's supposed to be 18? No way! I'd have a hard time believing if you told me that he was supposed to be 15!
...Well, ok, I'd believe 15, but *not* 18! Man, and it's not only that he's short, he's skinny and his head is too big for
his body and his eyes are big and his hands are baby-ish and he's always semi-chibi! But that's why I love him!
*flying-tackle-glomps Mikel*
